During its history Elektra has issued numerous albums that represent an experimental, curious and sometimes even frivolous attitude. In tandem with the indelible success of the often offbeat and adventurous Nonesuch imprint which continues to this day, Elektra itself has a number of off the beaten path releases, including comedy, a sound effects library, instructional discs teaching everything from Morse Code to blues guitar, an exercise record, Native American peyote songs and even field recordings by a chorus of Los Angeles Dodgers.
In this section we celebrate the less-traveled roads, blue highways and cul-de-sacs of Elektras 60 years of productive ramblin.
